This month brings in plenty of mixing. We just did some mixing work on Tom Morello's (Rage Against The Machine, Audio Slave) new project Street Sweeper. Make sure to check em out! Finishing up Matt McGrail's new project this weekend and will be handing it off to Capitol Records for the mastering. Spent most of this month out in Los Angeles and Santa Cruz soaking up some much needed sun and outdoor time. Spring is in full bloom here on the mountain and im happy to say that the lake has water in it again (drained for a good week or so!?!? strange!). 
As always summer is pretty busy around here so its time to kick it up a notch! Got some great new gear here at the studio including a Manley ELOP comp/limiter that sounds badass. Many new news items coming down the line. Check back soon! |

Spring is here... Snow is gone... Let the good times roll! |

Spring around here is always nice. If you've been up here, or are planning to, we are at the peak of a mountain and the cold always lasts a few weeks longer! On the flip side summers up here are fantastic with a cross breeze all day long. So, no complaints. Enoch will be making his yearly April pilgrimage out to Los Angeles for work and play. And rumor has it he will be attending a pirate themed birthday party for his 90 year old grandmother. While out there he will be checking in with some long running projects like Guitar Hero, and Ricky Nelson. In the past month he's been working on Opus (Dead By Wednesday, Gargantua Soul) solo project, a new young band out of CT called Hunting Simon, local reggae rock Tory and Tony Hannah's band and Matt Mcgrail who should be finishing up late next month. While Enoch is out in LA, Nathan Adajian will be taking control of EastLake and begin tracking with Hardcore/Metal band Black Water Blessing out of CT. In addition to his normal work for Guitar Hero, Enoch has a band he personally produced showing up in a DLC pack for Guitar Hero World Tour. Please have a look out for H Is Orange (although the name may be changed before it comes out, ill keep you posted!)... Its a great song and an even better record.. We'll be posting more about this project in the near future. |
