Summer has been humid and hot, but fun and busy!
Lets go down the line and see what we have been working on..
Recently we had Rick Fritch and Brett from Article 19 in to brush up on some electronic tunes they have been kicking around. Im not sure on this projects name, or even if it is a project that will see the public. None the less, the quality musicianship shines through everything they do. We finished up a new track for Dark City Drive produced by Rod Black of Jet Black Stare. They immediately went down to Texas and its been getting rotation down there i hear. John Zarcone and his band Mountain Interval came in to bust out quicky demo. The middle Mass band Crail came in to record a record. Twin Berlin came in to put the final songs and mixes together, to an album they have been chipping away at for the past year. Its has a great indi vibe. Kyle (cant remember your band name) came in to tweek on some tunes he has been working on. We did a voiceover for an audio tour of the Biltmore estates. Oh, yes we did! Dead By Wednesday continue to crank out on the new release and its sounds heavy as all get-out. This next release should really please DBW fans. Disquite came in to mix an hour long ripper of an LP. I just got the final back and they did a great job making this record really shine! Torndown came in to track some new material. The Elastic Hoax finished up their full length, Jimmy James and The Electric Shoes are currently making music that will certainly hit MANY ears down the road. Amazing song writing and performing.. And the sounds arnt bad either! :-). Forsaken The Sky brought their brand of deathcore in. REALLY heavy, REALLY tight... With 8 string guitars how can you go wrong? This has nothing to do with recording but i went to see my favorite band Faith No More reunite to perform live. If you dont know them, buy every album they've made and thank me later. The Go-Bro's now called Intern came in and hustled through 3 songs in 6 hours. I think it was some kind of a record. Half Shaved Yak came back to continue work on a record they started over a year ago! In fact its been so long that we had to salvage the data off a hard drive that almost exploded when we fired it up. The Roade Island band Scarlet came in to start production on a sweet indi record. And last but not least finished up the mixing of two Fear Nuttin' Band songs for their new record.
Plenty of stuff in the works.. ill check back in soon! <3 |
